Work is underway to update the garden of Remembrance and 16 rose new rose bushes have so far been donated and planted. A bird bath has been purchased in memory of Betty Hill and a fence will be put up in front of the bins and some trees planted there. Plants have been put in the trough in the front garden and a frame put around it.
We are grateful to Janet and Stuart for making a wonderful improvement to the Remembrance Garden and to John for creating a beautiful Cross in our front Garden.
If anyone would like to have a rose bush in the Garden of Remembrance, Janet Harsent or Stuart Kay would be pleased to hear from you. Elm Court have a selection of rose bushes at a cost of £11.99 and you would be welcome to provide your own rose bush or choose from the list of available roses that Janet Harsent holds.
