Leybourne Castle was the venue for the first Rochester Diocesan Big Day Out on Sunday 19 July. As you can see from the slideshow below, the venue was perfect for a fantastic afternoon of worship, teaching, bouncy castles, ice-cream, burgers, beer, fellowship and fun as over 1,000 Christians from across the Diocese came together!
The Dean of Jerusalem was our special guest speaker, there were school choirs from across the diocese, and our celebration was all brought together in an intergenerational Holy Communion service, led by Bishop James Langstaff, as the sun shone brightly.
All Saints Church took a coach to the event, on which we welcomed friends from Christchurch, Luton and St Stephens churches, and many old acquaintances were renewed over cream teas and laughter.[slideshow_deploy id=’1105′]
