All Saints Church welcomes Amy & Hermoine as they are baptised!

It is always a joy to welcome new members into our Church family at All Saints, and our recent baptism service was no exception. On Sunday 19 July, Amy Simons & Hermoine Carr both made their own baptism promises before God, witnessed by our Church family.

Hermoine, aged 8, stood at the front of church, before she made her baptismal promises, to tell us all why she had decided to be baptised. This is what she said:

Since I started coming to church I have enjoyed my time here. I have made some new friends and everyone has helped welcome me and my mum. We feel very much part of the family. I’ve been coming to All Saints Church for almost 2 years, I feel I belong here.
I asked my mum and dad if I could be baptised to be better guided by God and follow on the right path. My promise to God is to be a better listener and to always help others when I can. Today I will be baptised and it will be a very special day for me and my family. I thank you all for helping me celebrate today. Always remember your promise.
“My promise to God is to be a better listener and to always help others when I can.”
