Welcome to all of our new choir members joining WE CAN Sing UK™ for the first time. I hope you really enjoy this season.

ROCHESTER CATHEDRAL
This season is rather special for everyone attending one of our choirs, because we have been invited by the Chaplain to the Mayor of Medway to sing at the “Saints Alive” event on Monday 31st October 2016.
We will use the next season to prepare for this event and we may have some practice shows on the way, so this is an excellent time to join.
My vision is to have one large choir to sing at this event and in order to achieve this I will need your help!
Please would you spread the word about our choir to your family, neighbours and friends? Where possible can you put some flyers in your local community centres, supermarkets, and cafe’s? Please buy something first!
NEW CHOIRS
We have a few new choirs starting this season: Maidstone starts on Wednesday 28th September 2016 and will run on a Wednesday evening for 5 weeks only. We are also in the process of starting one in Sevenoaks and possibly The Isle Of Sheppey, if we can get enough people to sign up to them.
REHEARSALS
Our rehearsals are very relaxed, friendly and fun. Our style of teaching is based on gospel techniques but we use pop, soul, and gospel songs for our set lists. We will give you the lyrics so don’t worry!
We currently have three community choirs in Kent and you are welcome to attend any rehearsal in the week. You only pay once a week – so if you attend any more rehearsals at the other venues in the same week then you can come for FREE!
Iwade – Every Monday 7pm til 8.30pm, All Saints Church, The Street, Iwade, Kent ME9 9JS.
Maidstone – Every Wednesday 7.15pm – 8.45pm, St Faiths Church, Station Road, Maidstone ME14 1LH.
Rochester/Medway = Every Thursday 7.30pm – 9pm, Abundant Life Arena, Dock Road, Chatham, Kent ME4 4TX.
We are looking to start community choirs in Wolverhampton, Milton Keynes, Peckham, and Brockley (London) before the end of the year. Check the website for more details www.wecansinguk.com
We know that life can get busy and although we will encourage you to come to rehearsals every week, we do understand that sometimes that isn’t possible. So in our choir there are no termly commitments or up front payments. You only need to pay the weekly rehearsal fee of £5 when you are here – pay as you go!
However, should you wish to pay using your credit card, our new website has a Paypal facility that you can use.
Remember you only pay once a week – so if you attend any more rehearsals at the other venues in the same week, you can come for FREE!

Finally, WE CAN Sing UK™ has entered the Medway Business Awards 2016. With your positive input on social media, we may just be shortlisted as one of the final 12 and we could all attend and sing at the awards too. Watch this space.
