Vacancy: Children’s Minister / Worker

St Paul with All Saints Church, Chatham are seeking a Children’s Minister/Worker to lead and develop the church’s ministry among primary aged children and their families within the church and local community.

15 hours per week, including weekend and occasional evening work.

SALARY RANGE: £8,500 – £9,500 pa dependent on qualifications (theological training not expected), experience (training available) and hours (negotiable to be term time only)

The successful candidate will be responsible for working with and growing the team to provide opportunities for children to explore the Christian faith, to follow Christ and to participate as equal partners in the life of the church on Sundays and participate in outreach to families in the community so that more people can hear about the love God has for them.

Previous experience of working with children is essential to this role. As well as caring for and relating well to children, the person appointed must be able to work well with a varied team of staff and volunteers.

There is a Genuine Occupational Requirement for applicants to be a practising Christian who can fully support the ethos of this Anglican parish.
