The P Word Conference: 23 June 2016

Message from CARE (Christian Action Research and Education)

Today’s world has become saturated by online pornography, some of it incredibly violent and degrading, which is corrupting to individuals, whether young or old, male or female, and seriously damages their relationships. We need to help one another to confront this crucially important issue within our churches and offer real hope of freedom to people who have been affected.

From our earliest beginnings CARE has been deeply concerned about the issue of pornography and I am excited to tell you that, in partnership with ‘Naked Truth’, led by Ian Henderson, we are now planning a special event on this subject.

‘The P Word Conference’ will be held at the Emmanuel Centre, Westminster from 2 to 7pm on Thursday 23 June 2016.

It’ll be a day for those in leadership within the church that aims to equip and encourage us to respond practically and pastorally to this growing problem.

The starting time of this conference has been planned to make it more accessible for those leaders who live outside London. We are expecting many leaders to come from near and far. Tickets will be distributed on a first-come-first-serve basis so please do follow this link to order your tickets now at

We will bring together an expert group of speakers, leaders and MPs to get to the heart of the issue with honesty, wisdom and compassion.

We believe that by praying and acting together we can begin to stem this pernicious tide and see many individuals set free.  Please plan now to come to what we believe will be an extremely helpful and significant day. We’d greatly value your presence.
